Marina Levy

I am a CNRS research scientist at Locean-IPSL. My research interests are the study of the interactions between ocean physics, biogeochemistry, plankton and marine ecosystems, with a particular focus on the role of ocean turbulence, and with the final goal of being able to make better predictions for the future, particularly with regard to the carbone cycle, marine ecosystems and marine biodiversity.

Part of my time is devoted to the French research institute for sustainable developmment IRD where I serve as advisor for Ocean sciences, in preparation of the 2025 UN Ocean Conference UNOC in Nice, France.
