Research interests

My research focuses on the links between changes in climate and ocean circulation at different time scales. Until 2020 I have concentrated on reconstructing and understanding past changes in ocean circulation on orbital to centennial time scales. Since then, I also devote part of my research to current changes in ocean circulation, using water isotopes, among other measurements, to trace the freshwater components of the upper waters.

Wider dissemination

• The ACCLIMATE coring cruise (March 2016) has been the opportunity to develop outreach activities, including a website ( targeted at schools (primary, middle and high schools) and the general public. The website is designed to remain a resource for knowledge transfer towards schools, teachers and the general public.
